Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyzes applicant information to determine whether the customer qualifies for a beneficial loan program.
- Affords assistance in discussing financial objectives and goals with customers and initiates the loan application.
- Clearly communicates the loan program terms and benefits available to the customer as well as the loan process.
- Safeguards all required documents and ensures disclosures are signed in a timely manner.
- Follows the sales process and Quality Assurance (QA) requirements to stay compliant.
- Maintains a consistent performance in meeting and exceeding Sales Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set by management.
- Responds promptly to customers' needs and expectations.
- Displays excellent communication skills, being clear, concise, and professional when interacting with customers.
- Aspires to deepen knowledge of the mortgage industry, products, lending practices, and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintains a professional image and adheres to company policies and procedures.
- Adheres to shift requirements.
Qualifications
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Education and/or Experience: High School Graduate/GED, Bachelors Degree preferred. At least one (1) year of mortgage sales experience. Proven track record of exceptional performance.
- Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: NMLS/SAFE. At least 1 active license or at a minimum, the ability to be licensed without having to retake the SAFE exam.
