About the role

The Federal Savings Bank is seeking experienced Mortgage Bankers to join our team in Holmdel, NJ. We are looking for professionals who can help us build and maintain strong relationships with local realtors and builders.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and build new business relationships with local realtors and builders
• Work collaboratively with partners to grow their business
• Originate loans in all 50 states without state licensing
• Utilize personalized marketing options and robust support programs
• Work with experienced operations staff for processing, underwriting, closing, and post-closing services
• Receive on-site operations support in most loan production offices
• Close loans quickly within 30 days
• Work with a variety of loan products including FHA/VA, Conventional, USDA, Jumbo, 203k and Renovation, Portfolio, ITIN, Condos/Co-ops, Construction, HECM's, Multi-Family, Commercial, Personal Lending, and more
• Benefit from a strong secondary department with 55+ investor relationships and direct access to Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and Ginnie Mae

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of mortgage lending or retail mortgage banking experience
• Three or more new purchase loans per month
• A well-developed referral base including realtors, past clients, financial planners, attorneys, and/or accountants
• A college degree or equivalent work or military experience
• Knowledge of real estate market in local area
• Knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, FHLMC guidelines
• Favorable credit history and background check
