About the role

Under indirect supervision, is responsible for accurate coding of all inpatient services, procedures, diagnoses, and conditions, working from the appropriate documentation in the medical record at a community-based Health System. All work is carried out in accordance with the rules, regulations, and coding conventions of the American Hospital Association (Coding Clinic), ICD-10-CM/PCS, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

• Accurate coding of inpatient services, procedures, diagnoses, and conditions

Requirements

• 3+ years of Inpatient Coding in an Acute Care setting
• RHIT, CCS, RHIA, or CPC-H certification

Pay

$32.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule

• 26-week assignment
• Flexible schedule – Monday to Friday; weekends possible
• Full-time: 40 hours per week
• Part-time: 30 hours per week
