Huron Law Group PLLC, an established and rapidly growing national debt relief law firm, is seeking an enthusiastic and personable Virginia-licensed attorney to manage debt resolution files and consult with firm clients on a fully remote basis.

About the Role

This isn't a courtroom grind or a document-review assembly line. It's a client-facing, relationship-driven role where your voice and your judgment make a daily difference in people's lives.

Responsibilities

  • Client Consultation & Communication
    • Conduct phone consultations with prospective and current clients about their debt resolution options and account status
    • Educate and guide clients through each stage of the debt resolution process, ensuring they understand their rights, obligations, and next steps
  • File & Settlement Oversight
    • Manage an active caseload of consumer debt resolution files from intake through resolution
    • Provide oversight and guidance on settlement negotiations handled by firm staff
  • Document & Paralegal Review
    • Review and approve legal documents prepared by the firm’s paralegals prior to filing or client delivery
    • Conduct periodic file reviews to confirm accuracy and compliance with firm standards
  • Serve as a Trusted Legal Resource
    • Provide legal assistance and guidance to firm staff and clients as needed
  • General Legal Support
    • Maintain a high standard of professionalism and customer service across a high volume of client interactions

Required Qualifications

  • Active license to practice law in the state of Virginia, in good standing with the State Bar of Virginia
  • Reliable access to a computer and comfort using standard business software in a remote work environment
  • Strong phone-based communication skills, with the patience and professionalism to guide clients through a high volume of consultations

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in debtor/creditor, collections, or bankruptcy law
  • Experience in consumer debt defense

Compensation & Benefits

  • Starting at $80,000/year - commensurate with experience
  • Opportunities for discretionary bonuses and annual merit increases up to 5%

Physical, Environmental, And Remote Work Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting and frequent computer use
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Fully remote position: employees are expected to work from their designated work location (typically their address on file) during business hours. Work from alternate locations must be approved in advance by the department Director.
  • Employees are expected to be fully present and accountable, maintaining productivity and responsiveness through approved communication channels and tools, and focusing on work-related responsibilities during business hours.
