Description

Huron Law Group PLLC, an established and rapidly growing national debt defense law firm, focuses on providing cost-effective legal representation to consumers. The firm is currently seeking a remote, full-time attorney, licensed in the state of Arizona, to provide representation and limited-scope legal assistance to consumer clients involved in debt collection lawsuits.

What You'll Do

  • Represent and defend clients including collection cases initiated by original creditors or debt buyers.
  • For clients who engage the firm in a narrower capacity, provide limited scope legal assistance such as reviewing and editing pro se answer drafts prepared by the firm's paralegals.
  • This position will rarely require complex litigation and/or attendance at final hearings, as clients are enrolled in a debt resolution program and typically desire to settle through voluntary payment arrangements with the creditors.

Required Qualifications

  • Active license to practice law in the state of Arizona, in good standing with the State Bar.
  • At least 5 years of prior civil litigation experience.
  • Prior experience in high-volume consumer debt defense and/or collections preferred.

  • Starting salary: $115,000/year - commensurate with experience (annual reviews with raises up to 5%).

Physical, Environmental, And Remote Work Requirements

  • Fully remote position: enabling the attorney to telecommute from any dedicated work location within the mainland United States.
