Remote Disability Specialist (Advocate)

About the Role

Centauri Health Solutions is seeking compassionate and detail-oriented Bilingual Disability Specialists to join our 100% remote team. As a dedicated advocate for our members, you'll navigate the Social Security disability process, ensuring they receive the support and benefits they need. We provide training, equipment, and a supportive environment to help you succeed in this mission-driven role.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for health plan members, maintaining regular communication, answering questions, and clarifying complex information.
• Manage positive, professional relationships with medical providers, Social Security offices, and government agencies to keep applications on track.
• Gather, verify, and submit necessary signed forms, medical records, and eligibility data for complete and accurate applications.
• Proactively manage accounts, anticipating requirements and taking actions to secure disability benefits.
• Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and company information security policies.
• Concurrently manage multiple software systems and databases to track member progress and documentation.

Requirements

• 2+ years of customer service experience.
• Fluency in English and Spanish (speaking, reading, and writing).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and ability to navigate multiple platforms.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to de-escalate situations.
• Detail-oriented and goal-driven mindset.
• Ability to manage time, multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in social services, case management, disability/claims processing, contact center software, or working with government agencies is a plus.
