LegalFull-time

About the role

Centauri delivers data-driven technology solutions that transform fragmented clinical and member data into actionable intelligence — maximizing accuracy, quality performance, and outcomes for health plans and health systems. Through close collaboration with customers, Centauri improves patient and member outcomes by providing advocacy, advanced data insights, and intelligent clinical data delivery. The company addresses critical healthcare challenges for complex populations and improves access and quality of care. Headquartered in Tempe, Arizona, Centauri Health Solutions employs 1,100 dedicated associates across the country and has been recognized on the Inc. 5000 list, the 2020 Deloitte Technology Fast 500™, and as 2026 Best in KLAS for ADT Notifications.

This is a 100% remote position with training and computer equipment provided. The role is phone-based: you will spend approximately 90% of your day managing inbound and outbound calls while staying on top of case management tasks, including a significant amount of outbound calling to members who may not be expecting the call and may initially be hesitant to participate. You will manage applications from beginning to end, requiring long-term, detailed follow-up and persistence. Associates should expect a learning curve as they become comfortable with programs, systems, workflows, and member scenarios. The environment is structured and performance-driven, with goals related to securing eligibility for clients and balancing quality member interactions with productivity expectations. Exceptional performance makes you eligible for bonus payments.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for health plan members, maintaining regular communication, answering questions, and clarifying complex information (Member Champion).
  • Manage positive, professional relationships with medical providers, Social Security offices, and other government agencies to keep applications on track (Agency Liaison).
  • Gather, verify, and submit all necessary signed forms, medical records, and eligibility data, ensuring a complete and accurate application (Application Process Mastery).
  • Thoughtfully manage accounts, anticipating requirements and taking all appropriate actions to secure disability benefits until every method is exhausted (Proactive Case Management).
  • Build trust, overcome hesitation, and help members understand available services.
  • Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and company information security policies to ensure the safety and confidentiality of all data (Regulatory Standards).
  • Concurrently manage multiple software systems and databases to track member progress and documentation (Database Navigation).

Requirements

  • 2+ years of customer service experience.
  • Experience in social services, case management, disability/claims processing, using contact center software, or working with government agencies is a strong plus.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish — ability to speak, read, and write both languages with ease.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to clearly influence and de-escalate situations when needed; patience, resilience, and the ability to remain positive and professional during challenging conversations.
  • Meticulously detail-oriented; goal-driven and willing to learn.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Suite and able to navigate multiple platforms and screens smoothly while maintaining a warm conversation.
  • Ability to manage time appropriately, juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and thrive as part of a team.

Benefits

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage
  • Wellness program supporting overall well-being
  • Company-paid basic life and AD&D insurance
  • 401(k) plan with company match
  • Tuition reimbursement opportunities
