Remote Collector - Must Reside in Illinois

This is a remote/work-from-home position available to candidates who reside in Illinois. Company-issued equipment will be provided for work-from-home roles; additional details will be shared during the interview and onboarding process.

Responsibilities

  • Call consumers to secure payments on past-due accounts.
  • Ensure all work complies with company policies and local, state, and federal collections laws and regulations.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professional phone etiquette.
  • Problem-solve and multitask in a team-oriented environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Access to high-speed internet with the following specifications:
    • Broadband connection (no DSL or dial-up).
    • Hard-wired connection required (no Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi hotspots).
    • Minimum speed test results: 25 Mbps download, 20 Mbps upload.
  • FDCPA knowledge preferred.
  • Professional phone etiquette and solid negotiating skills.
  • Positive attitude and strong customer service aptitude.
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position 95% of the time.
  • Ability to exchange accurate information effectively over the phone.

Physical Requirements

  • Normal or corrective vision range; ability to see color and distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols.
  • Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, bend, and reach.
  • Ability to reach with hands and arms.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 lbs with or without accommodation.
  • Ability to stand for long periods with or without accommodation.

Work Conditions

  • Primarily indoor work environment with moderate noise levels.
  • Little to no travel required.
  • Essential functions can be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.

Pay

$16–$17/hour plus bonus opportunity.
