Remote Cloud Bookkeeper

About the role

We are seeking a joyful and driven Cloud Bookkeeper to handle day-to-day bookkeeping and finance tasks for our clients. This full-time, US-based remote role allows you to balance career growth with personal life while contributing to a thriving team.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day operations for clients, including transaction entry, invoicing, bill payments, payroll preparation, journal entries, and reconciliations
• Manage tasks organized in Karbon, our practice management system, to ensure success across multiple clients
• Interact with clients occasionally to answer questions or request information
• Collaborate with senior staff and ask questions when unsure about tasks in client books or systems
• Maintain keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and dependability in all work

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of full-charge bookkeeping experience in a multi-client environment
• College degree preferred
• Experience with day-to-day transactional coding, reconciling, AP/AR processing, payroll, month-end close, journal entries, and financial reporting
• 2+ years of experience with QBO, Bill.com or Ramp, Gusto or other payroll software, and cloud accounting technologies (Karbon and Double are a plus)
• Ability to manage deadlines across multiple clients and prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent communication skills with clients and team members across digital channels
• Humility, openness to coaching, and a commitment to continuous improvement
• Joyful and positive attitude in all internal and external communications
• Strong, reliable home internet and an environment conducive to video/phone calls
• Availability five days a week within standard professional hours (weekly hours may fluctuate ±3-5 hours due to client demands)

Pay

Salary range of $50,000–$60,000.
