Remote Call Center Operator

About the role

Northeastern Air Quality is seeking a diligent and professional Remote Call Centre Operator to join our dedicated team. As the first point of contact for our residential and commercial clients, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and support. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, highly organised, and passionate about helping clients understand and improve their air quality. This is a fully remote position for candidates based in the United States, offering an opportunity to contribute to a company focused on creating healthier environments.

Responsibilities

• Answering incoming calls and emails from new and existing clients in a professional and courteous manner.
• Providing detailed information about our air quality testing, assessment, and environmental consulting services.
• Scheduling and managing appointments for our team of technicians and consultants.
• Accurately recording client information, service requests, and communication logs in our CRM system.
• Resolving customer enquiries and issues efficiently or escalating them to the appropriate department when necessary.
• Following established communication protocols and scripts to ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery.
• Maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of the company’s services and standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a call centre, customer service, or a similar client-facing role.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional telephone manner.
• Strong active listening, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using CRM software and standard office applications.
• A high degree of self-discipline and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Access to a quiet, dedicated home office space and a reliable, high-speed internet connection.
• Must be legally authorised to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• A genuine interest in environmental health and air quality is highly desirable.

Pay

$50 - $60 USD per hour
