We are hiring a Audit Manager to join our assurance practice in a fully remote capacity — a leadership-level role with real visibility, real client ownership, and a clear path forward. The Opportunity As a Audit Manager, you will serve as a senior leader within the assurance practice — managing a portfolio of complex engagements, developing the next generation of audit professionals, and working directly alongside partners on client strategy and firm growth. This is not a role where you manage the work while someone else owns the relationship. You are the relationship — and the firm will invest in you accordingly. What You Will Do Lead and manage a portfolio of financial statement audit engagements across a diverse commercial client base — from planning through issuanceServe as the primary client relationship owner on complex, high-value engagementsReview and sign off on workpapers, financial statements, and audit reportsMentor, develop, and retain senior associates and managers — building the next tier of firm leadershipCollaborate directly with partners on business development, client strategy, and practice growth initiativesApply deep technical knowledge to complex accounting issues — ASC research, financial reporting matters, and client-specific challengesContribute to firm-wide initiatives including recruiting, thought leadership, and process improvement What We Are Looking For Active CPA required5-6+ years of public accounting audit experience with meaningful time in a senior leadership or management roleProven track record managing complex engagements and high-value client relationships end-to-endStrong technical foundation in US GAAP and financial statement auditing across commercial industriesExperience developing and retaining audit staff and managersStrong business development instincts — you understand that client relationships are built, not assignedSelf-directed, accountable, and comfortable leading in a fully remote environment What Makes This Firm Different Independent — No PE, Ever — Independently owned, no merger disruption, no private equity agenda.
