Remodel Merchandiser

About the role

SPAR is growing our overnight reset and remodel merchandising team. This Reset Merchandiser position is part of a team remodeling the insides of big box retailers, working overnights to build, assemble, and install shelving and fixtures. The role suits candidates with experience in merchandising resets or remodels, installation, construction, or general labor. The ideal merchandiser is self‑sufficient, highly motivated, comfortable with a tool bag, and driven to deliver high‑quality results in a fast‑paced environment. Projects include category resets and fixture installation; as one project ends another begins. SPAR Marketing Force manages new store set‑ups and full store remodels for national retail clients.

Responsibilities

• Work overnights remodeling big‑box retail stores
• Build and assemble retail store shelving and fixtures
• Work with Plan‑O‑Grams to tag, rotate, and place products as approved by store management
• Update signage, shelf conditions, and schematics
• Engage in considerable physical activity, including lifting and carrying up to 50 lb

Requirements

• Ability to stand for a minimum 8‑hour shift
• Ability to take direction regarding tagging, rotating, and placing products on shelves
