About The Position

As an HVAC Foreman at Dave Jones, you will take on a leadership role on the job site, overseeing HVAC installs within: Residential Remodels, Equipment installations, and some maintenance/service work. You'll be responsible for guiding and mentoring your team, ensuring high-quality workmanship, adherence to safety standards, and that projects are completed on time and within budget. Your leadership will be essential in fostering a positive work environment and maintaining effective communication among team members and clients.

Compensation: $35 to $40 per hour + 1.5x OT. PTO + Sick Days + Paid Holidays. Company Truck + Fuel Card.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations of HVAC remodels and installs, ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and safety standards
• Lead a team of technicians and apprentices, providing hands-on training and guidance to ensure compliance with industry best practices
• Install new furnaces, air conditioners, remodel ductwork, coils, returns, etc
• Coordinate materials and equipment delivery, maintaining an organized and efficient job site
• Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders regarding project status and any issues that may arise
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
• Responsible for leading, exemplifying and promoting the Dave Jones culture and holding team members accountable to all Dave Jones safety requirements

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in the HVAC field, including previous supervisory experience
• EPA Certification
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, installation methods, and relevant codes
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Commitment to safety and maintaining a safe work environment
• Lift above 50lbs regularly
• Walking, Lifting, Twisting, Climbing Ladders, and other physical requirements consistently for 90% of your day
