HVAC Lead Installer
Job Description
Install, and change-out of residential and light commercial air conditioning, ventilation and heating systems.
Start up and trouble shoot furnaces, air handlers, heat pumps and condensing units.
Plan and perform an installation to the requirements of local code with the expectation that each job passes final mechanical on the first time.
Communicate with customers while on site and provide them an outstanding install experience.
Able to use electrical test equipment, pressure gauges, hand tools, and power tools.
Able to work independently, or part of a team, to identify and resolve problems in the field.
Adequate understanding of layout, design, fabrication and installation.
Advanced understanding of line and low voltage wiring, relays, transformers, wiring diagrams.
Must be honest, dependable with high integrity and represent a professional company image.
Job Skills & Qualifications
- Proficient at residential and light commercial installations
- 5 to 10 years or more of HVAC install experience
- Current driver’s license and good driving record
- EPA Certification
- Pass drug test and background check
- Own tools
- Able to train entry level personal
Preferred
- Tech or Trade School / Technical / Vocational Degree
- Experience in, and ability to run service and maintenance calls
- NATE Certified

Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- 8am to 5pm
- Occasional overtime and late evenings
- Year-round work
