HVAC Lead Installer

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain job sites by unloading materials and equipment.
• Aid in the installation of HVAC systems, including ductwork, piping, and electrical components.
• Support the setup and layout of HVAC systems according to blueprints or engineering specifications.
• Carry and handle tools, equipment, and materials needed for installation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the job site, tools, and equipment.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Comply with local HVAC codes and regulations during installations.
• Interact professionally with clients, addressing their questions and concerns courteously.
• Aid in explaining the installation process and timelines to customers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of previous experience with HVAC.
• Basic understanding of HVAC systems and components.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• EPA Certification.

Physical Demands

• Stand/Sit: Must be able to remain in stationary position 50% of the time.
• Bend, climb (stairs/ladders), do repetitive motion, kneel, reach, squat, stand, crawl, walk, and run.
• Drive and sit for long periods of time.
• May be required to maneuver up to 25 lbs. by lifting, carrying or pushing.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs.) frequently.
• Comfortable working in confined spaces, heights, and varying weather conditions.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods.

Pay

The starting hourly rate for this opportunity ranges from $40-$60/hr. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands.
