Job Responsibilities
- Install heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential settings, ensuring proper functionality and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute HVAC installations according to project specifications and industry standards.
- Measure and cut materials to fit installation requirements, including ductwork, piping, and electrical components.
- Connect HVAC systems to existing ductwork, wiring, and control systems, ensuring proper operation and adherence to safety regulations.
- Test installed HVAC systems to verify functionality, troubleshoot any issues, and make adjustments as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, explaining system operation, and offering maintenance tips.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety protocols at all times to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Complete installation documentation accurately and promptly, including work orders, inspection reports, and equipment inventory.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent; completion of HVAC vocational training program preferred.
- Proven experience as an HVAC Installer or similar role, with a strong understanding of HVAC systems and components.
- Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and safety standards related to HVAC installation.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Proficient with hand and power tools commonly used in HVAC installation and repair.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- A valid Driver's License is required for this role.
Pay
Base salary range: USD $70,000.00 - USD $150,000.00/Yr.
Sign-on bonuses up to $10,000.00/Yr.
Annual bonus opportunities may apply based on performance.
Schedule
Hours vary based on project needs and company operations.
