Responsibilities
- Provides quality and efficient customer service by performing administrative duties related to the remarketing of vehicle returns.
- Works with other team members to ensure the daily workload of the center is completed.
- Supports strategies to minimize net credit losses by maximizing dollars recovered from written-off accounts.
- Aids in on-boarding new vendors by requesting and organizing information associated with the RFP process.
- Improves processes and increases productivity to deliver continuously improving year-on-year expense results.
- Builds solid peer-to-peer relationships in a team environment to meet operational needs.
- Communicates effectively and clearly on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis with outside vendors to provide exceptional customer service regarding routine requests.
- Supports rigorous quality, control, and compliance programs, including an ongoing control/compliance self-assessment process.
- Performs data entry, system coding, inventory audits, reconciliations, and other tasks to ensure alignment between vendor systems and Ally systems.
- Responds promptly to vendor requests (information, data, letter generation, etc.) on an as-needed basis.
Requirements
- 0+ years of experience
- High school Diploma or GED equivalent
- Preferred: HS diploma or equivalent required, 0-2 years experience in financial services or similar industry, Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in business or related field may be used as a proxy for the experience
- Basic data entry and word processing skills
- Oral and written communication skills sufficient to provide routine information, greet visitors, answer inquiries, and refer calls
- Basic computer skills sufficient to prepare policy manuals and enter data on spreadsheets
- Some ingenuity and initiative required to collect information, coordinate activities with others, and resolve routine and/or factual problems

Pay
Base Pay Range: $47840 - $54080 USD
An individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer.
Schedule
Work Schedule: Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. Your hiring manager will discuss this role's specific work requirements with you during the hiring process.
