Position Summary

The Remarketing Quality Assurance Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and compliance of vehicle remarketing processes within the auto finance portfolio. This position is responsible for auditing vehicle sales, evaluating vendor performance, and identifying process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and maximize recovery values.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular audits of vehicle sales transactions, condition reports, and auction listings to ensure accuracy and adherence to company standards.
  • Monitor compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations.
  • Analyze remarketing performance metrics including sale prices, days to sale, and recovery rates.
  • Identify gaps or inefficiencies in the remarketing workflow and recommend actionable improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement quality assurance best practices.
  • Provide feedback and support corrective actions when performance issues are identified.
  • Maintain accurate records of audit results, QA procedures, and process documentation.
  • Support system testing and enhancements related to remarketing platforms and tools.

Required Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in auto finance, remarketing, or quality assurance.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel or similar tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across departments and with external partners.
  • Familiarity with auction platforms (e.g., ADESA, Manheim) and vehicle valuation tools is a plus.

Education

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent education

Skills Required

  • Executed comprehensive test plans to ensure product and process quality.
  • Identified, documented, and tracked defects, ensuring alignment with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Performed root cause analysis and utilized statistical tools to uncover trends and drive continuous improvement.
  • Monitor corrective actions and process enhancements based on data-driven insights.
  • Collaborated with cross-functional teams including operations, IT, and remarketing to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Communicated findings clearly to stakeholders and produced detailed QA documentation and reports

Qualifications Preferred

  • Experience with auto remarketing operations or vehicle lifecycle management.
  • Knowledge of regulatory guidelines related to vehicle sales and finance.
  • Knowledge of compliance standards in remarketing (e.g., condition grading, title processing).

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time, use hands and arms to operate office equipment including but not limited to a keyboard, mouse and phone, will occasionally need to reach, stoop, stand or walk. The employee must be able to see (close vision), hear, speak, and communicate verbally. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

Work Environment

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Work Schedule

  • Overtime required – required on an as needed basis.
  • Travel 0-10% - as required on an as needed basis.
  • Must have reliable transportation and live within a commutable distance to one of the following cities: Dallas, TX
  • This position requires the ability to work various shifts to accommodate business needs. Typically, between the hours of 8AM-6PM Monday through Friday and on weekends as needed.
