Relocation Specialist For Seniors

Responsibilities

• Cook up and oversee the packing and labeling of belongings, ensuring items are handled with care and packed securely for transportation.
• Support the logistics of the move, including using space plans and meeting movers.
• Provide hands-on assistance with loading and unloading trucks, ensuring the safe and efficient handling of belongings.
• Support relocation team members during the packing, moving, and unpacking processes.
• Aid clients with unpacking and setting up their new living spaces, including furniture arrangement, organizing belongings, and connecting utilities.
• Offer emotional support and reassurance to clients throughout the relocation process, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
• Ensure all relocation tasks are completed on time and according to client specifications, maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in senior relocation services or a related field is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient demeanor.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects, bend, and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
