Relief Youth/Family Support Worker, All Stars, Florence

About the role

The Relief Youth/Family Support Worker will provide direct services to therapeutic day program/after school program families and youth, participate in treatment planning, assist in referrals to ongoing therapeutic services, lead on-site or community-based activities, and consult and collaborate with other professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct services to therapeutic day program/after school program families and youth
• Participate in development of treatment planning
• Aid in referral to ongoing therapeutic services; lead on-site groups/activities for families and/or youth
• Participate in care planning and case management together with Clinician and other program staff
• Provide regular transportation for consumers as appropriate, following program guidelines and using agency and/or personal vehicle
• Consult and collaborate with other professionals providing services to clients
• Participate in treatment planning, team meetings, in-service trainings, and other required meetings

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in behavioral health or related field (preferred)
• Knowledge of and training in child development and children's mental health
• Experience working with children and families facing emotional challenges
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply
