CBHC ESP Overnight Counselor, Florence

About the role

Clinical & Support Options, Inc. (CSO) is seeking Counselors to work overnights in our Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CBHC) Emergency Services Program (ESP) in Florence.

Responsibilities

• Provide supportive, therapeutic counseling and safety for clients utilizing the program
• Absorb clients with activities of daily living, including self-care, cooking, recreation, and medication administration and documentation according to individual treatment plans and, for overnight shifts, following program procedures for clients
• Function as an active member of the Treatment Team, on a day-to-day basis, in the therapeutic setting including: Monitor respite clients, including hourly bed checks and documentation, and provide closer observation as needed
• Answer and direct crisis telephone calls according to established procedures and as required for program support
• Prepare daily evening meal for clients and staff if working the evening shift
• Present cases to insurance companies and obtain prior approvals as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of experience working with similar populations
• High School Diploma and/or Associate's degree may be substituted for 5 years of experience
• Valid Driver's license and reliable transportation required

Pay

$38,000-$44,000/year. Premium shift pay available for overnight shifts.
