OVERNIGHT COUNSELOR

Overview Of Job Responsibilities

• Supporting resident navigation of crisis situations
• Engaging in skill development
• Modeling coping techniques
• Collaborating with medical staff to best support residents
• Awake overnight shifts 11pm to 7am

Requirements

• Experience working with sensitive populations
• Education in Human Services or a related field
• NYS Certified Peer a plus
• An ability to operate independently, think on your feet, and follow your training
• Excellent conflict management and dispute resolution skills
• Strong interpersonal boundaries

Qualifications

• Successful completion of RISE background checks
• A valid driver’s license and a driving history acceptable to the RISE Automobile Policy

Benefits

• A rate of $19 per hour
