Relief Teller (Hawaii Region)

About the role

First Hawaiian Bank is seeking a collaborative, customer-focused, goals-oriented Relief Teller to join our Hawaii Region team. This position requires reliable transportation and the ability to travel to any of our various Hawaii island branches based on changing business needs. We reimburse mileage at the IRS standard rate (currently $0.76 per mile).

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional in-branch customer service experience by proactively engaging with customers to identify needs.
• Demonstrate digital banking options and fulfill customers’ day-to-day transactional needs.
• Advise customers on the full range of financial products and services to suit their financial needs.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service and communication skills; pleasant and tactful when interacting with customers.
• Previous sales experience highly desirable.
• One year of cash handling and customer service experience highly desirable.
• Must be willing to travel to various Hawaii Island branches.

Pay

The pay range is $21.00–$24.50 per hour, plus sales incentives. This position offers an additional $3.00 per hour Relief Premium, recognizing the flexibility and commitment required to support multiple branches.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM; Saturday on a rotation basis, 8:30 AM–1:30 PM (hours may vary).
