About the role
Thrifty White Pharmacy is a mid-sized pharmacy chain based in Hibbing, Minnesota. It is committed to serving small towns and cities in the rural Midwest, focusing on patient engagement to improve health outcomes and reduce healthcare costs.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to build loyalty and repeat business.
- Champion Thrifty White programs such as Ready Refill, Medication Synchronization, and HealthyPackRx, and assist with enrolling patients.
- Lead the team by setting high standards in patient service, structuring and organizing workflows, and providing clinical services.
- Manage long-term care (LTC) businesses by communicating with nursing homes, group homes, and assisted living residences.
- Identify and communicate opportunities for LTC and specialty business to marketers.
- Dispense medications, related supplies, and provide all clinical pharmacy services.
Requirements
- A pharmacy license, or the ability to obtain one without federal sanctions.
- A PharmD or MTM Certification (course completion certificate from an approved ACPE program is required).
- Current Immunization Certification.
- CPR Certification.
- NPI Number.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in pharmacy and a passion for providing exceptional patient care. Experience is not required for most Pharmacy Technician positions, and Thrifty White offers training programs for new hires.
Skills
Strong customer service skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, and proficiency in dispensing medications and providing clinical services are essential.
