About the role
The Merchandiser - Large Store Relief is responsible for building displays, replenishing inventory, and executing merchandising training methods at customer outlets. This role also involves training Merchandisers, maintaining product integrity, and responding to customer issues.
Responsibilities
- Builds and maintains displays
- Replenishes inventory on shelves, racks, and cold equipment
- Trains Merchandisers in established merchandising methods
- Sells and executes merchandising plans at the store level
- Maintains equipment and customer assets
- Rotates and replenishes products in customer outlets
- Collects and reports breakage or out-of-date product
- Provides feedback and recommendations to leadership
- Works collaboratively with Sales Supervisor and Delivery Driver
- Ensures positive customer relationships and provides excellent customer service
- Performs duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years old
- Valid driver's license and compliance with UNITED fleet policy
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance
- Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
- Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
- Ability to work a flexible or rotating schedule
- Ability to respond and resolve customer issues
- Ability to self-motivate and perform job duties with minimal supervision
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- Previous Merchandising experience preferred
