Relief Licensed Veterinary Technician

Pay

Pay: $23.50 - $45.00 / hour + competitive shift differentials. This pay band is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency assessment tool. We also offer competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked for nights and weekends. Shift differentials are based on a 4-hour minimum.

Shifts

• Mon – Fri: 6pm to 8am = $3.50/hr
• Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = $3.50/hr
• Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = $5.00/hr

Responsibilities

• Triage and obtain patient history
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
• Place IVC's and advanced catheters like jugular catheters, central lines or PICC lines
• Monitor and care for ventilator cases
• Work alongside other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients
• Nurse critically ill patients back to health and reunite them with their pet parents
• Perform other relevant roles/responsibilities

Qualifications

We are looking for a Relief Licensed Veterinary Technician who is passionate about helping mentor and train fellow associates. Applicants must possess unrestricted, current authorization to work in the U.S. and not require future sponsorship for an employment-based green card.
