Job Summary

The Relief Staff Associate will provide support to Clubhouse members at Green River House, a vocational, educational, and rehabilitation program for individuals with mental health challenges. The position involves coordinating work units, providing personal and job skills training, and supporting members in achieving their goals.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate a Clubhouse work unit
  • Provide program coverage as assigned
  • Perform supportive services to provide personal, educational, and job skills training
  • Complete work interest evaluations and plans
  • Support and follow-up for program members
  • Act as liaison with the Department of Mental Health and other agencies involved with member’s goals/recovery
  • Participate in treatment planning, team meetings, in-services, and other relevant meetings
  • Consult with clinical/crisis staff
  • Plan and facilitate vocational and recreational activities on a rotating schedule

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred) in a Human Services related field or 2 years of experience in a mental health program or with a similar population
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply
