Relief Behavior Technician II - SRT
About the role
The Behavior Health Technician position supports the multidisciplinary team in providing clinical support to adults and children with mental illnesses, substance abuse, and co-occurring disorders across various settings including residential treatment, inpatient facilities, day/evening programs, and outpatient services.
Responsibilities
- Establishing a positive helping relationship with clients
- Aiding clients in completing activities of daily living and accessing necessary resources
- Maintaining the health, safety, and well-being of clients
- Implementing specific interventions as outlined in the client's treatment or service plan
- Monitoring and documenting client progress
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- One (1) year of experience working in a behavioral health setting preferred
- Ability to obtain CPR certification
- Completion of CPI training
- Ability to provide individualized, integrated mental health, substance abuse, and co-occurring services
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in other behavioral health programs as needed
- Valid driver's license, good driving record, and insurability under the corporate policy
Pay
Base pay ranges from $15.00 - $16.12 per hour based on experience. Shift differential applies, paying $2.00 - $4.00 per hour if applicable.
