Role
The Reliability & Rapid Response Senior Manager reports to the Reliability Director, Skin Health and works in North America, United States, New Jersey, Summit. They are responsible for organizing large or strategically important programs and activities for the North America Supply Chain business unit.
Responsibilities
- Develop new programs to support the strategic direction of the organization and drive business unit agility efforts.
- Develop an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.
- Write program funding proposals to guarantee uninterrupted delivery of services.
- Ensure goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, safety, agility, quality, and team member performance.
- Manage changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.
- Proactively identify risk through various risk sensing techniques and develop detailed mitigation plans with robust contingency.
- Partner with leadership to ensure communication is timely, roadblocks are quickly addressed, resource gaps are identified and resolved, risks are mitigated, and partners are aligned across multiple levels.
- Manage stakeholder communications ensuring project issues and decisions on services are addressed.
- Develop strategy with the overall E2E Program & Process team. Presenting and collaborating with cross-functional senior leadership, exercising the highest level of integrity in the performed tasks.
- Partner with Plan, Make and Source to drive agility throughout our supply chain; focusing on utilizing continuous improvement tools to drive down lead times and strategic upside capabilities and optimize its complex global supply chain by managing shared manufacturing assets and capacity with other geographies, collaborating with third-party manufacturers and logistics providers, and creating the capability to manage a systemwide inventory.
- Lead the NA Supply Chain capabilities development needed to achieve the desired level of agility within the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is required, with an advanced degree (Masters) is preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience is required.
- Independent self-starter with strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to partner and communicate across functional levels, and to influence without authority within a matrix reporting structure.
- Proven experience in program, process, or project management is required.
- Certified PMP or FPX trained is an asset.
- Lever, Six Sigma, or Process Excellence oriented training is required, certification is preferred.
- Ability to strike a balance between big picture planning and detailed execution is required.
- Flexibility, Agility, and ability to quickly adjust on the fly to new demands; with a keen sense of urgency is required.
- Outstanding organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional projects with tight deadlines is required.
- Able to prioritize multiple projects & tasks and successfully prioritize to deliver results in the face of competing business interests is required.
- Strong understanding of supply chain, planning, technology, and product development preferred.
- Strong drive for results and continuous improvement is required.
Pay
Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges: $153,850.00 - $217,200.00. This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate’s skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
