Reliability Maintenance Mechanic - 3rd Shift

Responsibilities

• Comply with all safety and housekeeping rules.
• Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on industrial equipment (motors, pneumatic tools, hydraulic systems, conveyor systems, production machines) following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications.
• Become familiar with the plant work order system.
• Use hand and power tools, cranes/hoist, rigging equipment, welders, and fall restraint systems.
• Work as part of a team, communicating and cooperating to achieve results.
• Participate in plant safety and continuous improvement initiatives as directed by supervision.
• Adapt to scheduling requirements, including shift work, overtime, weekends, and holidays.
• Participate in workplace organization and 5S initiatives.
• Support and participate in continuous improvement projects.

Requirements

• Ability to perform assigned repair and servicing tasks.
• Willingness to work the assigned schedule, including shift work, overtime, weekends, and holidays.
• Understanding of all plant and departmental safety rules, standards, and programs.
• Meet the essential physical requirements of the position, including negotiating steps and ladders.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions from plant supervision.
• Maintain a set of personal tools as specified in the operator rate program.
• Willingness to work in hot, cold, and dusty environments.
