Reliability Maintenance Engineer

INEOS Pigments is a leading producer of titanium dioxide in North America, offering various products and services globally. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining the integrity and reliability of plant equipment.

Responsibilities

- Develops and implements analysis methods for equipment integrity and reliability. - Facilitates reliability review meetings and Root Cause Analysis sessions. - Provides training and coaching in reliability principles. - Manages and leads the reliability maintenance program. - Develops and implements the site's Mechanical Integrity program. - Ensures the right resources are available to maintain plant areas at acceptable levels. - Responds to emergency repairs and brings in external support as needed. - Identifies and resolves equipment issues affecting plant performance and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering with 7+ years of related experience in a chemical or petrochemical manufacturing environment. - Strong engineering skills with knowledge of process equipment including pumps, compressors, piping systems, pressure vessels, metallurgy considerations, exchangers, instrumented systems, and relief valves. - Ability to work closely with all levels of plant personnel to maintain equipment performance. - Technical soundness, decisiveness, and good human relation skills. - Thorough knowledge of processes and systems for managing mechanical integrity, plant reliability, and work execution. - Strong understanding of SAP is preferred but not mandatory.
