This position is within Lifecycle Engineering, which ensures our products are Safe, Reliable, Maintainable, and delivered on time. As a Reliability Engineer II, you will support product support engineering disciplines including Reliability, System Safety, and Supportability.

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of reliability strategy across multiple product phases including development, production, and sustainment.
  • Support an engineering team consisting of varying levels of experience and engineering sub-disciplines.
  • Conduct analysis efforts supporting system design with respect to product Reliability, Maintainability, and Failure Reporting and Corrective Action.
  • Work in reliability disciplines including FMECA, Predictions, and Derating.
  • Review technical documentation for accuracy and compliance with existing standards.

Requirements

  • University Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
  • Minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience in Failure Modes Effects Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Reliability Predictions, Environmental Stress Screening (ESS), Derating, or Failure Reporting, Analysis and/or Corrective Actions System (FRACAS).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Customer focus and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; proficiency with MS Office tools and experience preparing and presenting briefing material.
  • Ability to review technical documentation for accuracy, identify concerns, suggest solutions, and follow through to closure.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $68,900 – $131,100 USD. The range is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including role, function, responsibilities, work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
