Responsibilities

  • Review, investigate, and develop appropriate recommendations regarding assigned Reliability Engineering projects.
  • Utilize new technology to continuously upgrade and improve site safety, efficiencies, cost controls, quality controls, and environmental protection.
  • Participate with Operations and Maintenance departments and other Engineering staff in problem-solving efforts to enhance safety, efficiency, cost controls, and environmental protection.
  • Cookordination project activities with Operations and Maintenance departments to improve equipment maintenance availability and other Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Ensure appropriate documentation for assigned projects is prepared and review documentation for accuracy.
  • Participate on small to medium site construction, expansion, or modification projects.
  • Administer contracts with vendors for the provision of services and equipment.
  • Develop working knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations relevant to your area of assignment.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related Engineering discipline and three (3) years of related experience in Engineering, or
  • Master's degree in a related Engineering discipline and two (2) years of related experience in Engineering.
  • Knowledge in probability and statistical analysis.
  • Knowledge of the principles and practices of Reliability Engineering.
  • Able to research and analyze information of considerable difficulty and draw valid conclusions.
  • Able to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
  • Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.
  • Able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CMRP Certification.
  • Experience with crushing and conveying systems.
  • Experience with mobile equipment.
  • Knowledge of condition monitoring technologies such as vibration analysis, lubrication analysis, thermography, or ultrasonic testing.
  • Electrical systems experience in an industrial environment.
  • Experience performing RCFA, FMEA, or Asset criticality assessments.
