Reliability Engineer I
Responsibilities
Provides technical assistance/troubleshooting assistance in resolving equipment design, operation, and maintenance problems for all rotating and/or fixed equipment located within all assigned area teams; contacts internal and external experts as required.
Utilizes reliability tools such as reliability analytics, failure evaluations, and cost analysis to improve reliability of rotating and/or fixed equipment systems.
Writes Project Request Forms (PRFs) for reliability improvement projects, equipment upgrades, etc. Including financial justification (life cycle cost analysis) and assists in Decision Support Package (DSP) development.
Champions Management of Change (MOC) as appropriate for the work scope.
Helps establish equipment monitoring plans and control limits.
Ensures equipment repairs meet or exceed Original Manufacturer (OEM) specifications.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering required. Zero (0) years or more of experience required.
