Reliability Design Associate (Fall 2026)

About the role

Astranis is seeking a Reliability Design Associate to support our growing team. This role is ideal for recent graduates with a background in electrical, computer engineering, or physics.

Responsibilities

• Perform reliability analyses on satellite systems
• Work with the reliability design team to analyze flight hardware
• Support DFMEA (Design For Manufacturability and Electromechanical Assembly) efforts
• Write code to help evaluate performance and automate testing of satellite hardware

Requirements

• Have a four-year degree in electrical or computer engineering or physics (or equivalent technical degree)
• Interest in learning about, designing, and working with electronics systems
• A passion for hardware development, including working in a fast-paced environment and hands-on design and development
• Demonstrated ability to personally design, build, and test hardware from scratch
• US Citizenship or Green Card

Bonus

• Experience with agentic AI systems
• Experience with SPICE-based simulators (LTSpice, PSPICE, ADS, etc)
• Familiarity with standard EE lab bench (power supply, oscilloscope, multimeter, etc)
• Experience with Python

Pay

The base salary for this position is $1,925 per week.

Schedule

This role is a twelve-week salaried position.
