Release of Information Specialist II
Description
Help ensure newborns and their families receive accurate and timely documentation during an important life moment. In this role, you'll process birth-related records, support Social Security and birth certificate documentation, respond to requests for patient information, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and regulatory requirements. You'll also assist with training new team members and delivering excellent customer service.
Position Highlights
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Day shift with scheduling flexibility
- On-site in Brunswick
- Rotating weekends and holidays

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs)
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare related discipline preferred.
- Licenses/Certifications: RHIT or RHIA preferred.
- Experience: One year of experience in Release of Information required. Previous EPIC or EMR experience preferred.
- Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of a Release of Information Specialist I role.
Additional Skills/Requirements
- Medical terminology course - must obtain within six months of start date.
