About the Role

Relay For Life isn't just a walk—it's the start of a movement led by students like you. Together, we support those living with cancer, honor those we've lost, and raise funds to make the future brighter. Relay For Life is more than fundraising—it's fun, impactful, and unforgettable.

Responsibilities

• Attend monthly meetings from February until your event in May or June.
• Be present for the full Relay For Life event, helping with set-up, activities, and clean-up.
• Expect about 3-5 hours per month during planning, and 8-10 hours in the final month, including event day.

Winnipeg (multiple areas): Assiniboine South, Downtown, Elmwood, Fort Garry, Inkster, Point Douglas, River East, River Heights, Seven Oaks, St. Boniface, St. James-Assiniboia, St. Vital, Transcona.

Additional Information

• Open to candidates aged 13–17, including groups, large organizations, schools, and those fulfilling volunteer hours for school credit.
• No criminal record check or child abuse registry check required.
• Organization will provide a letter of reference and training/orientation.
