Sales
- Promote USB products and services through branch banking sales and service processes.
- Aid customers in understanding their financial goals and suggest solutions.
- Sell the value of suggested solutions and close sales.
- Maintain a working knowledge of all USB products and services.
- Stay updated on products/services offered from partners and other business lines for cross-selling.
- Participate in all branch, market, or bank sales initiatives, contests, campaigns, and promotions.
- Exceed individual and branch sales/service/cross-line of business goals.
- Sources and facilitates Bank at Work opportunities.
- Proactively reaches out to new and existing customers, including on-boarding, up-selling, setting appointments for financial reviews, etc.
- Leverages all lead lists, top customer lists, household lists, business lists, etc., and enthusiastically reaches out to customers to deepen relationships.
Customer Service
- Demonstrate all aspects of the USB Customer Service Commitment Charter and the USB brand.
- Put the customer first by promptly acknowledging their presence and focusing directly on them.
- Accurately and efficiently handle transactions, respecting customers' time.
- Handle customer concerns appropriately, either by addressing them directly or referring them to supervisors.
- If follow-up is required, set clear customer expectations and deliver as promised.
- Maintain the highest levels of confidentiality and privacy of customer information.
- Project a professional, positive outlook and demeanor at all times.
Operations / Risk Management
- Accurately process transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and negotiable items like Bank Checks and Money Orders.
- Balance TCD and/or TCR as required.
- Process wire transfers.
- Monitor account records, such as signature cards, POAs, and Business Resolutions, ensuring they are completed correctly and in compliance.
- Comply with S.A.F.E. Act regulations, keeping registration information up to date and ensuring status as active.
- Provide N.M.L.S. registration number upon request and in all written communications in accordance with law, specifically on e-mail signatures and business cards.
- Comply with Fair Lending regulations.
- Comply with UDAAP regulations.
