About the role

We're looking for a Relationship Specialist who thrives on building meaningful relationships with both current and prospective customers. This role involves providing floorplanning financing for independent auto dealers, enhancing customer relationships, attracting new business, and growing AFC's revenue while managing risk.

Responsibilities

• Elevate customer relationships and attract new business
• Manage and service customer accounts, balancing risk
• Grow the portfolio organically and assist in promotional efforts
• Use critical thinking to assess business and risk situations
• Develop an understanding of customer needs using CRM tools and work queues
• Manage existing accounts and drive new growth opportunities

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in customer-facing, sales, or sales support roles
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
• Ability to travel frequently (50-75%) within your market
• Proficient in using technology required for the position, including mobile applications and software
• Strong understanding of portfolio management, risk, and new business development
• Ability to work independently and autonomously, as well as part of a team
• High level of accountability towards local goals and business targets
