About the role

We're looking for a Relationship Specialist who excels at building meaningful relationships with both current and prospective customers. This role involves providing financing (floorplanning), enhancing customer relationships, attracting new business, and growing AFC's revenue while managing risk.

Responsibilities

• Elevate customer relationships and attract new business
• Manage and service customer accounts, balancing risk
• Grow the portfolio and assist in promotional efforts
• Use critical thinking to assess business and risk situations
• Develop an understanding of customer needs using CRM tools and work queues
• Manage existing accounts and drive new growth opportunities

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in customer-facing, sales, or sales support roles
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
• Ability to frequently travel (50-75%) within your market
• Desire to work in a multi-faceted environment, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to different audiences
• Proficiency in sales expertise, portfolio management, risk assessment, and new business development
• Ability to work independently and autonomously, as well as part of a team
• Knowledge of relevant technology, including mobile applications and software

Nice to have

• Previous auto industry or financial services experience
• Experience with Google Workspace, Salesforce, and Tableau
• Bilingual skills
