Relationship Manager
About the role
The Relationship Manager is responsible for proactively managing ongoing relationships for a territory of 15 to 30 accounts ranging from $1M to $40M in annual revenue. The primary role is to build trust-based and value-added relationships with key clients, with a focus on revenue retention and growth to strengthen and enhance long-term client relationships.
This territory is heavily weighted toward Fixed Income Pricing & Analytics, and the position requires experience within that field. The RM will take a leadership role in coordinating internal resources to ensure successful execution of client initiatives and problem resolution.
Performance will be measured through quantitative metrics such as revenue retention and growth, as well as qualitative goals including proactive client engagement and overall client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Manage all ICE Data Services revenue across all lines of business.
- Become proficient across all products and services, with a focus on Fixed Income Pricing & Analytics.
- Lead coordination of internal resources to execute client initiatives and resolve problems.
- Engage proactively with clients to drive satisfaction and long-term relationships.
- Serve as a strong customer advocate and project coordinator.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry, with at least three years in account relationship management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with senior management internally and externally.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with large, complex, and potentially demanding clients.
- Professional demeanor and deep industry knowledge, including familiarity with ICE Data Services products and services.
Pay
The expected base salary for this role, if located in New York, is between $75,000 and $125,000. For Illinois, the expected base salary is between $70,000 and $110,000. These ranges do not include uncapped sales commission incentives. Compensation is based on individual skillset and experience.
