Relationship Manager
About the role
The Relationship Manager is responsible for proactively managing ongoing relationships for a territory of 15 to 30 accounts ranging from $1M to $40M in annual revenue. The primary role is to build trust-based and value-added relationships with key clients, with a focus on revenue retention and growth to strengthen and enhance long-term client relationships.
This territory is heavily weighted toward Fixed Income Pricing & Analytics, requiring experience in that field. The RM will take a leadership role in coordinating internal resources to ensure successful execution of client initiatives and problem resolution.
Performance is measured through quantitative metrics like revenue retention and growth, as well as qualitative goals such as proactive client engagement and overall client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Manage all ICE Data Services revenue across all lines of business.
- Become proficient across all products and services, with a focus on Fixed Income Pricing & Analytics.
- Lead coordination of internal resources to execute client initiatives and resolve problems.
- Achieve revenue retention and growth targets.
- Engage proactively with clients to ensure high satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry, with at least three years in account relationship management.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable serving as a project coordinator.
- Strong industry knowledge and professional demeanor, with familiarity with ICE Data Services products and services.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with senior management internally and externally.
- Experience working with large, complex, and potentially demanding clients who expect high levels of service, professionalism, and expertise.
Pay
The expected base salary for this role, if located in New York, is between $75,000 and $125,000. The base salary range does not include uncapped sales commission incentives. Compensation is based on the individual’s skillset and experience.
The expected base salary for this role, if located in Illinois, is between $70,000 and $110,000. The base salary range does not include uncapped sales commission incentives. Compensation is based on the individual’s skillset and experience.
