The Relationship Banker I role at Regions is designed for individuals with prior teller, limited banking, or retail sales experience looking to start a career with opportunities for growth and development.

Responsibilities

• Provides an exceptional customer experience on the cash line while handling customers' transactional needs.
• Handles customer inquiries regarding products and services and fulfills basic servicing requests.
• Develops relationships with customers and educates them on standard consumer products and digital solutions.
• Aids in resolving customer service inquiries by assisting branch and fellow team members with basic tasks.
• Refers customers to an internal team of experts for more complex financial goals and needs.
• Adheres to bank processes and procedures, including managing operational risks.
• Identifies customer needs and provides appropriate guidance and perspective about Regions' solutions.
• Conducts outbound phone calls to educate customers on emerging technology and assist with meeting their financial needs.
• Tracks and reports time worked in excess of 40 hours per week, eligible for overtime under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to work Saturdays as needed
• Ability to handle cash and process cash transactions
• Communicate in person, on the phone, and through electronic channels
• Use a computer on a frequent basis, including typing and sustained attention to a monitor
• Walk and stand for extended periods of time
• Lift up to twenty (20) pounds
