About the role

The Relationship Banker I role at Regions is designed for individuals with prior teller, limited banking, or retail sales experience. The primary responsibility is to provide exceptional customer service, manage transactions, and assist customers in achieving their financial goals.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other teller duties.
• Answer customer inquiries and fulfill basic servicing requests like card replacements, PIN resets, and check orders.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, staying informed about their financial needs and Regions' products.
• Provide education on digital banking options and assist customers in using these tools.
• Aid branch colleagues in resolving customer issues and refer complex cases to internal experts.
• Comply with bank policies and procedures, including following up on operational risks.
• Conduct outbound calls to educate customers on new technologies and financial solutions.
• Track and report hours worked, eligible for overtime under FLSA.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to work Saturdays as needed
• Handling cash and processing transactions
• Effective communication in person, on the phone, and via electronic channels
• Using a computer frequently, including typing and prolonged attention to a monitor
• Standing and walking for long periods
• Lifting up to twenty pounds

Pay and Benefits

The starting salary range for this position is $37,621.05 USD to $44,536.00 USD, with potential for incentive pay and benefits including medical, dental, vision, disability, 401(k), and paid vacation/sick time.
