Relationship Banker I (New Albany Branch)

About the role

The Relationship Banker I role at Regions is designed for individuals with a passion for customer service and a desire to grow their career. This position focuses on providing exceptional customer experiences, enhancing financial wellness, and building meaningful relationships with customers.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other typical teller activities.
• Answer customer inquiries regarding products and services, and fulfill basic servicing requests like new/replacement cards, information changes, PIN resets, and check reordering.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, staying informed about their banking needs and preferences.
• Provide education on standard consumer products and digital solutions such as mobile, online, and ATM offerings.
• Aid branch and team members in resolving customer service inquiries and issues.
• Refer customers to internal experts for more complex financial needs.
• Adhere to bank processes, procedures, and regulations, including completing tasks delegated by the Branch Manager.
• Identify and report operational risks, and ensure sound banking practices.
• Conduct outbound phone calls to educate customers on emerging technology and assist with their financial needs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to work Saturdays as needed.
• Handling cash and processing cash transactions.
• Communicating in person, on the phone, and through electronic channels.
• Using a computer frequently, including typing and sustained attention to a monitor.
• Walking and standing for extended periods.
• Lifting up to twenty (20) pounds.

• Assisting customers with digital banking offerings.
• Handling multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Overseeing large sums of cash.
• Strong customer focus and relationship-building skills.

Pay and Benefits

The starting salary range for this position is $35,640.99 USD, with a median of $42,192.00 USD.
