The Relationship Banker I role is designed for individuals passionate about connecting with customers and making a meaningful impact in their communities. Responsibilities

• Proactively initiate contact with customers to understand their banking needs.
• Accurately process a variety of transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and payments.
• Maintain responsibility for cash drawer and follow proper balancing procedures.
• Respond to customer inquiries with a positive attitude and refer complex issues to appropriate personnel.
• Follow up to ensure customer issues have been resolved.
• Offer cross-selling of Bank’s products and services by discussing customer financial needs and goals.
• Provide customer training and support with all mobile and online banking programs.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of current products, fees, and policies and educate customers accordingly.
• Assist customers with safe deposit box services.
• Participate actively in the Bank’s customer-needs based sales program.
• Perform all duties in accordance with regulatory compliance guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of Bank’s written policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED required; Associates Degree in business or related field preferred.
• One to three years of previous retail banking experience in a Teller or Relationship Banker I role preferred.
• One to three years of previous retail banking experience in a Relationship Banker role preferred.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with tact and diplomacy.
