Work Schedule

This is a 40-hour-per-week hybrid position. Expected work hours are an 8-hour shift between 5:00 AM and 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Onsite requirements will be discussed during the interview process. Hybrid eligibility applies to applicants in Wisconsin and Illinois. The onsite location is 7974 UW Health Court, Middleton, WI.

About the role

Bring your customer service experience to the #1 hospital in Wisconsin as a Reimbursement Representative. You will:

• Follow up with third-party payers and patients on outstanding account balances, including credit balances, to facilitate prompt resolution.
• Verify patient coverage information and update registration as required.

Requirements

• Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: Associate’s Degree in Business, Finance, Health Information Management, or a related field.
• One year of experience in an insurance, finance, medical, hospital, or customer service-related field is required.
• Revenue cycle (healthcare business, financial or insurance) experience, Epic experience, and knowledge of medical and insurance terminology, CPT and ICD coding structures, and billing forms (UB, 1500) are preferred.
