Reimbursement Contract Analyst - Decision Support

Responsibilities

• Buils accurate expected payment rules in our EPIC and Strata software systems.
• Models new contracts for reimbursement changes.
• Audits underpayments and assists in the collection process as needed.
• Reports writing out of Epic and Strata software systems.
• Communicates the information to the appropriate people and works with them as needed.
• Works independently.
• Works closely with Managed Care and Revenue Cycle to interpret contract terms and implement changes.
• Serves as an expert in building contracts out of EPIC.
• Compiles and analyzes financial information for an organization, so we can assure resources for serving our patients.
• Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Finance or equivalent or at least 3 years of experience in the field of healthcare reimbursement or contract analysis or in a related area.
• Strong understanding of payor contract terms, fee schedules, reimbursement methodologies.
• EPIC Contract Management certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to use excel and communicate appropriately.
