Accountabilities
- Oversight of contract administration activities
- Support of commercial initiatives
- Accuracy and compliance of documentation throughout the agreement lifecycle
- Strong coordination skills
- Business judgment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across internal and external teams
- Creation, review, tracking, and execution of commercial agreements
- Coordination of contract development activities with various teams
- Review of proposals, client agreements, and vendor documentation
- Partnering with legal teams for agreement preparation and feedback
- Maintenance of contract trackers, repositories, libraries, templates, and reporting tools
- Management of renewal processes and adherence to contract procedures
- Analysis of reimbursement, pricing, and commercial contract information
- Participation in commercial team meetings
- Collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders for process improvements
Requirements
- Extensive experience in healthcare contracting, commercial operations, or patient access support
- Strong organizational skills and ability to interpret complex agreements and regulatory requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, marketing, business administration, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in patient access support, contract management, client management, or related healthcare commercial functions
- Advanced understanding of commercial contracting regulations and compliance requirements
- Knowledge of HIPAA, patient privacy requirements, and applicable federal and state contracting policies
- Proficiency with document management, contract management, and productivity tools such as Office 365 and Google Suite
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex contractual documents
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams
- Strong project coordination, organization, and time management abilities
- Experience improving processes, contributing to contract strategy, and fostering cross-functional collaboration
