Accountabilities

  • Oversight of contract administration activities
  • Support of commercial initiatives
  • Accuracy and compliance of documentation throughout the agreement lifecycle
  • Strong coordination skills
  • Business judgment
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across internal and external teams
  • Creation, review, tracking, and execution of commercial agreements
  • Coordination of contract development activities with various teams
  • Review of proposals, client agreements, and vendor documentation
  • Partnering with legal teams for agreement preparation and feedback
  • Maintenance of contract trackers, repositories, libraries, templates, and reporting tools
  • Management of renewal processes and adherence to contract procedures
  • Analysis of reimbursement, pricing, and commercial contract information
  • Participation in commercial team meetings
  • Collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders for process improvements

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in healthcare contracting, commercial operations, or patient access support
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to interpret complex agreements and regulatory requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, marketing, business administration, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in patient access support, contract management, client management, or related healthcare commercial functions
  • Advanced understanding of commercial contracting regulations and compliance requirements
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, patient privacy requirements, and applicable federal and state contracting policies
  • Proficiency with document management, contract management, and productivity tools such as Office 365 and Google Suite
  • Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex contractual documents
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams
  • Strong project coordination, organization, and time management abilities
  • Experience improving processes, contributing to contract strategy, and fostering cross-functional collaboration
