About the role

This position is responsible for stacking product while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The role provides guidance and ensures compliance with management directives to Team Members on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and promote the Tyson safety culture
• Receive training as required
• Perform various positions as assigned, including rehanging birds into moving shackles at 28 birds per minute
• Visually inspect the line for empty shackles and product quality
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• Work around moving belts and shackles
• Perform repetitive grasping with hands, lifting, and raising hands above shoulder level
• Stand at the line for the entire shift
• Visually inspect product
• Perform periodic bending, lifting, turning, pulling, and twisting
• Work in warm, cold, and wet environments
• Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
• Pass a background check (required for certain roles at Tyson)
